I was a parent searching for help, but I was also a bit nervous. One tour of the facility and my son immediately communicated his desire to go, and we felt so much peace. We sent our child to Caravel instead of 4K because we wanted him to develop the skills he’d need to be functional in the classroom. My experience at Caravel was wonderful. My daughter grew day by day with the support, love, and therapy provided by every member of the staff. She improved significantly with each therapy session. When she started, she didn't speak much and couldn't even use the toilet without diapers, and now she does all of that with the help of the teachers. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The support I received as a mother was incredibly helpful, and for my daughter, it was the best thing that could have happened to her.
My nonverbal son attended ABA therapy here, and the growth we’ve seen is truly incredible. Shelly is absolutely amazing. Not only do they support your child, but they also give you the tools you need to navigate this journey with confidence. Caravel has been the best and most successful therapy to come into our lives! They focused on our child’s individual needs and helped to overcome food aversion, clothing tolerance and develop speech and social skills. Autism can be very scary and unknown but with the support and guidance of Caravel we gained optimism and confidence going forward. They are not up front with you lead you. On a waitlist for a year. Told them I wanted 20 hours. Even though they recommended 40 hours all through the waitlist I told them that. Now that my son’s off the waitlist. I said the same thing because my son’s going into kindergarten. Saying the school doesn’t know how to teach. Also said I won’t judge what you pick.
