The owner made my daughter feel like a princess. She went above and beyond. Huge selection, with very affordable prices. She also does alternations. This place is a secret haven for prom dresses. I highly recommend it.

My daughter had picked out the perfect prom dress at another business, but there was some kind of miscommunication and the dress was rented out to someone else. My daughter was so disappointed and she thought she'd have to settle for something else. But we went to Caralyn's a week before prom and Caralyn found a dress that looked identical to the dress she was hoping for. Caralyn went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was 100% happy. Google says they open at 11 on a Saturday ….but no one answered the door. There is no indication of when the shop does open (or if it was temporarily closed) on their website or shop door. When I tried to call the number provided, I was sent to voicemail and it was for a business called JR something. Not Caralyn's Formals. Wasn’t worth leaving a message. 0/10, Wouldn’t recommend.

Got our daughters prom dress last minute. Owner was extremely helpful in custom alterations done quickly. Beautiful dresses and great selection.
