I'm a father and I hired Cara to help me get custody of my 6yr old son and that is exactly what she did.I had been told over and over that a father would never get primary custody of a child and that it would be impossible. Thanks to Cara,today I got primary custody of my son. Cara's a phenomenal attorney! Last week I was going to hire Cara, before I actually signed any paperwork I sent Cara a retainer, only after reading some horrible reviews how she was a crook and how she used up funds quickly, and how she didn’t deliver on her word. I had a very time sensitive case that dealt with the custody of my daughter. I was very persistent with making sure she knew that. In 8 months she did absolutely NOTHING to help my case. I than had to go to another attorney and pay a retainer that was 3x what it should have been because Cara and her Assistant made HUGE mistakes throughout. the largest being that she filed my case in the wrong court system. Cara Rowe was a very costly mistake. She cared more about her relationship with the other attorney than representing me. She would not listen to me. She did not care enough to look into details. She actually hurt me with hiw rude she was to me. It basically was my ex husband had two attnoreys against me. She cost me $13,000 because she hid my rights. If you're okay representing yourself, hire her. She is all about money and will take it all without truly fighting for you... she's not good with returning calls and everything has an invoice. Her fiduciary responsibility to her clients (or to us at least) was slim to none. Save yourself the headache (and money) and find an attorney who will fight for you...
