Dr. Pence is fabulous. She is so caring and so competent!
Dr. Pence did my dad’s hernia surgery. He had surgery on Friday and died three days later, Tuesday morning at 8:31 a.m. His death certificate says he died from complications of hernia surgery. The morning he died, I called Dr. Pence and told her he was coding in the hospital and she never came to the hospital to see how he was or to help. The day he died, she called in the afternoon and had the audacity to ask US — the grieving family “what happened.” Disgusting. Horrible and atrocious
I an very nervous about surgery. After the initial visit, her personality put me at ease. Most surgeons and doctors make you feel uncomfortable, but Dr. Pence is more like a family member that you feel comfortable about being around. If I ever need another surgery, I hope she is the one in the O.R.!
Dr. Pence is AWESOME! Came highly recommended for major health issue - got me in FAST. After initial visit, gave options and considerations, then recommended a wonderful team to handle issue. Came back to her for minor procedures/visits related to larger issue because of comfort/confidence with her. Complete confidence in her and her abilities - very well thought of in medical community! Will use her for any surgery needs for myself and family in the future.
