Second time I've tried scheduling an appointment online. First time they called and laughed at me wanting to get in the next day... this time they just ignored the request all together. Guess I'm going to Jiffy Lube
They were not friendly or helpful when I called and stopped in after being over charged for tires. There was no manager to speak with and you can't get through to anyone on the corporate phone number. The tires I looked at online were priced at $129.99 and after getting home last night saw I was charged $152.99 per tire. They said they'd try to get me a refund and that it could take 6-8 weeks, if the request for a refund is approved. That's completely unacceptable.
RecommendedCar x gave me a discount off an oil change, and the service was quick and excellent.
I have been going to Carx for years. They usually get service done within a reasonable time. I would recommend it!
I’ve taken my car here for years and have had really positive experiences with Rob and other employees. They are upfront about what my car needs and have been great about not having me pay for costly car maintenance prematurely. I don’t know anything about cars and always feel respected when I bring my vehicle here.
My wife takes her car to Car-X frequently. Today was another testament of why they deserve 5 Stars. She stopped over at the Subaru dealership today with the newer car we just bought elsewhere and asked for someone to look at why gas door won't open. Without looking at it, they told her it would be minimum 2 hours of work and 2 days to get the parts in. Then they suggested she take it across town to another dealership. Thanks, Tim! Thanks, Rob! I've been having vehicles serviced, repaired, and re-tired here at CardX for just forever. Why? I can absolutely TRUST THEM. Being female, I've been taken advantage of at some other places. But never here. Just the truth. Fair prices. They're looking out for me. They just helped me buy a great used car by inspecting my final choices (only $40 each car - knowledge that saved me thousands!) You can trust any location in Champaign and the other 16 in Illinois run by the same owner - an outstanding man.
