Overpriced, dismissive, and unprofessional. I asked Martin for help hiding the wires for my dashcam, and he said it would cost double because I didn’t buy the installation from him. When I asked about removing a small piece of plastic so I could access the socket, he quoted $120 for what seemed like a very simple, quick task. I’m not sure why they didn’t want my business….. I was referred to the A/V shop by the guy Nextdoor who does window tint. So I decided to give them a try. I show up unannounced looking to see if they could at the very least give a diagnostic on my current equipment, the entire time thinking of replacing the system in its entirety. While the guy/boss walks out with me to my car he tells me that he is not the cheapest and if that is what I’m looking for they are not the shop for me. Martin and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable in helping me pick out the right stereo equipment and installing in my car. Installation only took less than a day, and their work was very clean and flawless. They were able to hook up the sound I was looking for, and is a real upgrade to my vehicle. I would most certainly go back to Martin and his staff for future car audio, would highly recommend going to Car Audio MX for your vehicle’s sound system.
