Friendly staff and beautiful view of The Matanzas River.
You know when you pull in the parking lot and you see the huge smoker with the man tending to all the meat, that it is going to be fresh and delicious! And that is exactly what it was… Paired with their Carolina Tangy and their sweet barbecue sauce, the pulled pork sandwich was terrific! And I must mention the huge array of homemade desserts… Lemon coconut cheesecake cake… was the one that I sampled and it was absolutely scrumptious!
I ordered the brisket plate and it was so fatty and tough, I couldn't eat it. The baked beans were o.k. and the coleslaw was mediocre. I will never go back.
Great location on the ICW. Pretty good food, pulled pork is always good, brisket depends on how long since it been out of the smoker, all their sides are delicious, and they have a great selection of bottled beers.
