The young female at the door appeared less than enthusiastic. She tried to seat us outside with an upcoming storm. We asked to be seated inside, and she put us in the middle of the room when there were other two-seated tables to the side and walked away when I was asking if we could sit elsewhere. Ordered the low country boil, was as bland as plain grits. No seasoning at all. Not very pleased. Our other orders of fried shrimp and chicken tenders were good.
I recommend the Kentucky beer cheese burger and the fried pickles! Delicious!
My favorite place to eat while in Hilton Head. On one visit we actually pulled up to the dock cleaned our cobia and they prepared it for us. Great people and great prices.
The best shrimp & grits on the island!!! Wonderful crab cakes, fried shrimp and grouper. Actually everything is good there!
Best He-crab (yes, He not She) soup anywhere; perfectly spicy without overpowering the crab. The Grouper is great also along with just about anything else you might order. Add a Palmetto Amber Ale (always on tap) and you are set! We miss the old location at the marina, but the new one is much bigger and closer to the resorts and shopping.
