We Love Captain Stans, Always a good time and Great food and Service
Every year I vacation on Jekyll Island, I make the short drive to Captain Stans for the ribs! Always perfectly cooked and great service! Amazing atmosphere and fair prices. This place alone is worth the almost 500 mile drive from home!
Captain Stan’s is my favorite ribs spot in the area. It’s worth the drive. The atmosphere is eccentric and the ribs are great. Plus you don’t have to deal with the crowds like at some places. On second thought, don’t go there. Leave it be. That way it doesn’t become too crowded.
I had the Soul Bowl which was Lima Beans, Chicken and Collard Greens in a bowl with toast on the side. What a combination - I would have never guessed you could layer that in a bow - it was excellent. My husband had the ribs that were falling off the bones. OMG! No sauce required.
