I have been going to Captain Scotts for years. I love the food and the people that work there. I also love the scenery it is a summertime tradition. Summer wouldn't be the same without their clam fritters and hot lobster roll. I also visited the rawbar while I was waiting and enjoyed some shrimp cocktail and oysters with the family.
Awesome Father's day gathering. Real New England seafood. Tons of options for everyone. Even in the rain, it was great.
I travel in my line of work and always look for hidden gems that the out of towners don't know about and the locals love. I got here right at opening and 15 minutes later there was a line of people in line to place there order. I got the small hot lobster roll drizzled with butter. I'm still kicking myself in the ass a day later for not getting the large! I will definitely be back when I'm the area. We brought my 97 year old grandmother to have a good lobster roll . She loves going there . She is a hard one to please, and she loves it !!! We love it as well . If you want a full real lobster roll, this is the place to go !!!
