RecommendedThe lobster roll was phenomenal, not drowned in butter. Nice that they offer 2 sizes. The whole belly clams were straight up ridiculous. Massive shrimp cocktail by the piece. On and on. Wish I had room to try the scallop BLT. I’ve eaten at many a clam shack, lobster hut & seafood shanty up and down the Connecticut coast and this place has to rank in the top 3....and the other 2 escape me.

We are from Chicago dropping our son off at Conn college.. all the students in the dorms told us about this place. The Lobster rolls were great as well as the soup.

The hot lobster roll is outrageous. I only wish I lived closer. Only get there once a year.
Myself and My Lady enjoyed Capt. Scott’s every time we come. The 1/2 Pt Claim Bellies fried were so Good and My Lady Gloria just Loved the grilled Scallops . She’s picky said they were cooked perfect . Just a Diamond in the rough . Bravo to The Capt. !!!
Best clam chowder in a bread bowl I’ve ever had! Will definitely come back!
