Everything about this restaurant is PERFECTION! The food, the scenery, the staff!!! The only reason it gets 3-stars is because it was soooooooo HOT!!! Please turn down the air and 5-stars will be yours. Your customers will be MUCH happier!!!!
Stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 4:30. Not many people in the restaurant, perhaps 3 couples. Waiter seemed new and not very personable. Local IPA beer on tap was great. Ordered raw oysters and shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. Oysters were fresh and tasty, shrimp was (apparently) frozen and tasteless. If you're going to have fresh oysters, why not fresh shrimp? Food was good, thought that the catfish would have been a little more thicker than what it was. The chicken sandwich was absolutely perfect, good crunch outside, moist and tender inside, hush puppies were good, the fried green tomatoes would have been better tasting if they had been fixed with cornmeal. Our server was excellent with timely follow-up! Course the view was absolutely beautiful!!
Today was our first time at the Captains Restaurant and our meals were delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!
My first experience was not good, but it’s been getting better every time we come back. Food has gotten better and staff always friendly and go out of the way to serve us
The scenery was beautiful. The waitress was great. The food was a huge disappointment. Baked potato was cold and microwaved tasteless. My husband ordered the pick two seafood combo -broiled -received 4 shrimp and 4 oysters. My food was so soggy and was floating in a white substance. Will not go back and would not recommend this restaurant.
