I can no longer afford to eat there but the food and the staff are stellar! Way to go Captain! She moved into a home a yr and a half ago, and Im sure mom, Patricia p Start misses yall! Every Sunday, you got that 89 year old cheap tipper, her a monthes supplly of cofffee with her brunch. I can't believe this was my first visit! The food was DELICIOUS! I got the captains platter so I could have everything I was in the mood for and they didn't disappoint. The haddock was truly the best I've ever had, fresh and delicious. The shrimp and sea scallops were awesome. The portions were great and so was the price. I will definitely be returning.
Not impressed, the portions were tiny and the bill was ginormous. I'll never go back
First timers going to Captain Marden's - fist stop the Captain's Table Restaurant. We got right in & were seated, every table was full, so we lucked out on a SAT around 2PM. Ordered beverages, clam chowder, lobster salad on salad. Mom ordered the fried seafood platter, which I now envied, but she shared because I was craving as we say in Boston lobstah.
