Our stay at the inn was fantastic. The breakfast was divine, and we were given lots of really fantastic tips for sights and activities to check out, places to eat, etc. The inn provides you with a fabulous little informational book that has lots of great resources, and Raleigh (the owner) was incredibly helpful whenever we had questions or requests. Highly recommended. The new owners are lovely. Room was immaculate, lovely breakfast, coffee was delicious. And bed dreamy comfortable. Located in the heart of Rockland. Location is ideal and they have parking. Updated from summer 2024. It’s still FABULOUS…. And oh the fresh cookies when you arrive.
My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before this trip, but the Lindsey Guest House exceeded our expectations! The whole place was very thoughtfully updated and decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Raleigh was very kind and accommodating and made our stay great. She also made the most delicious cookies!
What a lovely inn! Food was delicious, staff and owner friendly and attentive. Bed was so comfortable and the room was spacious - wish there'd been more space to put things on from my suitcase, but it was fine. There are stairs, but easy to navigate to the 2nd floor. Location was quiet and peaceful. Easy walk to restaurants.
Our multi-day stay here was truly memorable. From first introductions at check-in to exchanging ‘thank you’s’ and ‘farewells’, each hour was met with hospitality and thoughtfulness. Our room was clean and comfortable; the common spaces a sweet balance of nostalgia and boutique; the Lindsey Guest House’s location is perfect for a Maine getaway. Can’t wait to plan our next visit!
