I just want to thank Capt Dave and his crew over there at Captain Levi's Fiberglass Boat! They did a great job on my 1970 Scottie Craft. I had twin small block chevys removed, with all fiberglass repair work done and my boat prepared for a single engine. All fiberglass work was done in a reasonable amount of time and beautifully finished.Capt Dave and his crew also cleaned up the outside gel coat and bottom painted the boat. I had some issuers with my center console boat, capt Levi assets the problems and repairs everything and extra things I didn't notice, great work boat looks like new now

Ahoy to all ! My name is Captain Dave the Ceo and founder of Captain Levi's Fiberglass Boat Repair. Iam posting and offical respound to two negative reviews posted on Citysearch on 4/27/2015 by MIKE R and Jim C whom just happened to join Citysearch on the same day they posted there review. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE. I was told one price, hit up for cash up front, then when he was done went way over original price. Not only that, it was not done the right way. He would not take my check, does not have credit card machine. He demanded I go to bank to get cash, makes me think some thing is up

I would rather light my boat on fire then deal with those less than professional people. They brought some kid who was obviously on drugs. He wouldn't shut up, running around in circles doing nothing, and the brief yelling fits, not to mention the price per hour. After I explained to Dave what his employee was up to, he shrugged it off, then demanded me to pay for every hour this guy did nothing. The job is still not done. Go to anyone else

I found the right man. I had just Goggled transom replacement and wound up with Captain Dave. He not only did a great job on replacing my transom, he pointed out that I have a classic boat. It is a 1965 Glastron. I have had it for over 40 years. I did not realize it was a classic. I have just always loved it and Captain Dave told me why other people felt the same way. He showed me how the hull design was unique. I would highly recommend him, a very knowledgeable, talented craftsman.

This is the guy! You've been looking for him: honest, dependable, friendly, experienced, and a real expert on boats and boat repair. Captain Dave was highly recommended to me, so after a short telephone conversation about some problems we've been having with our boat, he drove down to O'Neill's on a Saturday morning and spent over 2 hours going over the boat - including a sea trial. He was outstanding! I'm sold - Captain Dave is now "my boat guy."

WOW! What a great repair to our 80' Riva yacht at the Vinoy. All work was completed right at the marina and the price was great and the work was perfect. This company is so much better and less expensive than the few boat yards the area. We had work done at another nearby boat yard in Salt Creek and took a bath on the work and the price. Call these guys and save yourself a ton of money and have zero issues after work is completed.

Very Happy: I researched and talked to several companies before choosing to bring my boat to Capn Levi's to have the bottom redone. The boat was badly blistered and had no anti-fouling paint on it previously. He took the time to explain the process and the options available. Dave and the whole crew were great. The price he quoted was right on and he did everything he could to complete the work quickly despite the cold and rainy weather. They did the work carefully by hand, no shortcuts and no sandblasting that can cause furt... read more
