Very disappointing. I ordered sautéed shrimp and it had no flavor. My husband had fried clams and they were mostly breading. The service was terrible even though it was early and the restaurant wasn't busy. Definitely won't go back.
My food was $15.99 and I only got a small amount it was the size of a child's plate. My sister-in-law found hair in her food . This place sucks
It's a very clean restaurant. The employees were very nice. The service was great, and we got our food very fast. It was delicious, and the hush puppies and special butter they give you is wonderful!! Great place to eat by the water.

Had dinner tonight at Capt John's, in the last couple of years, this has become our go to at Calabash! The food is always good and the service is great! Tonight our waitress was Jean and I can say that she was extremely knowledgeable about the specials and the menu!!! We ordered a plate to go and it was ready just in time for us to leave, we didn't have to wait for it! If you want good seafood and great service Capt John's is your place!!

The best in Calabash. I love the service I get when I'm there. They have a wonderful water front view. They do a wonderful job ever day preparing there food for each night. A lot of hard work but it makes for a good meal
