At our Columbia, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Wasn't Busy and still had to wait 30m in drive thru line
Slow as hell, but the food is decent
This was one of the best Captain D’s experiences we’ve ever had! Even though it was busy on Friday evening when we arrived, the two ladies running the front were calm, friendly, and incredibly quick. Their professionalism and great attitude made the visit so enjoyable. They are truly a huge asset to this restaurant!
Shout out to Deosha!! That's one dedicated and hard working young lady. Her shift was over and her ride was outside waiting but she took care of every customer that came in until she cleared the line. The general manager came in after she left and I sure informed him of her OUTSTANDING work ethic. We appreciate you Deosha!
