We are usually very pleased with our service and food. However this day was a complete mess. We arrived at noon. The dining room had no one there but all the tables were dirty. The girl taking order was practically lying on the counter. Had to repeat the order a couple times. We felt she wasn’t listening . While waiting for our food she was coughing and spitting in the trashcan near the food line. Disgusting! Food order was wrong so apparently she wasn’t listening. They were out of butter. I just have to brag on the Danville Captain D’s! Every time I visit, the food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious—I’m pretty sure they cook everything to order. I moved away for a while and tried Captain D’s in Louisville, and honestly, it was awful both times. I thought I’d never eat there again. But now that I’m back, I couldn’t be happier with this location. The food is consistently amazing, and the service is always so friendly.
