Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Went thru drive thru even though it took a min to get our food the dude in the windows was very nice and friendly even gave treats for our 3 dogs in the back mind you he handed the treats to me so no handling it then our food food was not greasy was very tasty we will be going back
This place has great fish always golden brown and crunchy. The service is always speedy and they have a friendly crew.
I love Captain D’s!! But my complaint is more recently the fish taste and texture is more like chicken. Very disappointing!
