It was a great place to grab some crabs , the employees were very people orientated , good amount of parking . The only flaw I had there was the fact the insects kept biting me because I sat closer to the trees but other than that great food and great customer service . I will definitely travel from philly for that again
Stumbled upon this place, did all you can eat crabs and corn on a Sunday afternoon! Excellent service, they came by the table every 15 with more crabs! To the point we had to turn them down! Corn was excellent! Had 4 pieces! That's how good it was! Beer in buckets were ice cold! A must try from here are there fried pickles!! Stayed crispy the whole time never went soggy, great taste! Definitely looking forward to coming back!!!
We traveled about 40 minutes from Delaware to Captain Chris' for the first time. It was easy to find, but difficult to tell where to pull in or where to park until a waitress aggressively waved us toward the rear parking lot. We were seated quickly, but it took about 15 minutes for our waitress to greet us and another 10 minutes for drinks. Crabs were out fairly quickly after that. The crabs were very small and very little I do not know how they got away with serving the size crabs service was terrible had to keep on waiting for the waitress or the runner to bring us crabs had to go up several times and tell them that I need it crabs would never go back to this place again very small crabs that was not even worth picking and the service was terrible
We were excited to try here and had high hopes, but the service was a disaster. We asked 3 waitresses for salt never received it I walked to the host stand to get it myself. We were not given mallets, again asked 2 servers ours and another, never received. Eventually took 2 clean ones from the next table. Same story with asking for butter. We sat with a empty tray of crabs for 15 minutes before they were refilled. Same story with the check. Crabs were good. Medium sized but fairly full and good flavor. The service, however, left something to be desired. We got our drinks and food fairly fast but waited FOREVER to get ANYTHING else. My daughter asked 4 different people for butter and it was finally brought close to the end of our meal. Waitress was nice but they're definitely overworked waitresses and they need to hire more help so service gets better.
Extremely long waiting time but worth the wait....crabs were hot and meaty.
First time here and we will NEVER BE BACK!!!!! Food was awful, service was terrible and the rotting food smell (probably from crabs) from behind the fencing was enough to make to you throw up!!!! You couldn't pay me enough to come back here!!!!!!!! YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!!!! ����
