This restaurant has terrible service. The staff is racist and is incredibly rude. Please do not go there. The waitress with short curly brown hair and medium build wouldn't let my boyfriend's mother even finish the words out of her mouth before she cut her off and said they didn't have what she was asking. She snatches the menus, slams drinks down as well. After she leaves our table, she sits down with a Caucasians couple giving them her time and helping them while making fun of our table. I am a huge fan of fried seafood. Calabash style buffets in SC have nothing on the food at Bill's. Go figure you have to drive inland to Greensboro to enjoy such good seafood!
Forget about Captain Bills The shrimp was so tiny it was like eating breading with a smigeon of shrimp. The fries were limp & soggy. It location is out of the way and not worth the gas. I will not eat there again.
Don't bother eating there, it's not worth the drive. The shrimp were tiny, tiny, tiny and the fries were limp & soggy. They claim their fish is fresh, but the waitress didn't even know what fresh meant. Just another crappy restraunt in Greensboro.
gboro trawler Fried Shrimp!!! the best there is. I am not in love with their iceberg lettuce salad, but the other dishes are good. Halibut is a thick, juicy cut and good value. Broiled flounder a little too bland for me, but excellent as a sandwich platter fried.
Captain Bill's Seafood & Steak This is really a good seafood restaurant. We like the shrimp here. We have never had anything to eat that wasn't good. Everyone is very friendly and the portions are very large.
THE VERY BEST SEAFOOD IN NORTH CAROLINA.
Good lunch specials, love the peppery catfish dinner, my husband loves the scallops, I love the oysters, don't care for the "seafood sauce" on the table I always ask for a small side of pure horseradish sauce and add ketsup, the oysters are per weight not number and I always have too much and need to share. I love the greek salad , pleanty of greek feta and love the greek dressing. Friendly owner and always gives you some candy (chocolate) as you pay the bill.
