Been going to Captain Anderson’s since the late 70s as a kid. Only a few hours away but always worth it!!!! The crab stuffed flounder gets me like this...🤤🤤🤤. My favorite restaurant ever!

A Favorite Spot for over 40 years. Wait Staff are the best! The food has consistently been wonderful. This visit (9 in our party) had sautéed crab claws ( oh my goodness-I should have ordered them for my entree) everything tasted delicious—steaks, shrimp and grits, shrimp, scallops, red snapper, however, my grouper was tasty but over cooked (I’m thinking because I ordered the smaller portion, the Cook kept the time the same as a full portion-I didn’t return, but I’m aware for the future)
Go there hungry was bizzy but expected small wait but worth it fresh
We have driven from Birmingham to Capt. Anderson's just to eat for the weekend. Love this place. Been coming for 60 years
I had the fillet mignon and it was probably the most moist steak I have ever had. The staff was real nice.
Haven’t been to Captain Anderson’s in a few years, but we will definitely be back again soon. The seafood was fresh and delicious. Our waiter, Steven, was very well educated on the menu and was able to give very informative recommendations.
