Perfect view of the water, ten feet from the tiki bar deck. Excellent drinks and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. My husband liked his chili and my lobster bisque was the best I have ever eaten. We ordered the Combo for 2 (teriyaki beef and chicken skewers, glazed shrimp and tiki wings served with rice and pineapple rings). The food took quite a while to arrive and we found everything to be overcooked but edible. But we do like Captain Al's and will be back.
I have been to Captain Al's many times and have always loved it - great food, awesome service, and really friendly patrons. I was very surprised at how ill-prepared they were for the July 4th weekend. When we arrived, we found two seats at the bar. We were able to get drinks fairly quickly, but were told we couldn't put a food order in for 20 minutes. Nearing the 40 minute mark, we had to ask if we could put our order in. Drinks and food are okay. The outside deck is absolutely amazing and beautiful.
My wife and I went for a nice motorcycle ride down Rt 58 heard about Captain Al's decided to go have lunch. We got a seats outside at the bar awesome view and ordered a couple of hurricanes. The bartender Kate was great she was friendly and attentive. We ordered some food two cups of clam chowder and split the fishermans platter and brought home leftovers. The food was very good big portions, done to perfection. We will be going back.
Mudslides not even close to as great as last year!! New bartender ??? Great bar and location thou!
My intuition brought me there. It was nice to see familiar faces.
I thoroughly enjoyed a hot buttered lobster roll which was top notch and a mudslide which was also top notch! The Service was great and the highlight was being carded by our waitress when I ordered my drink!
The service is awsome and the atmosphere is so awsome this is well run restaurant bar on the water. .And truly miss ya Jeff fellow brother. .
Very fun place Great food and service with live entertainment overlooking the bay worth a stop!!
