the crabs.... omg, soooo good. some of the best ever.. I just cant afford them

Winter crab special, 50 mixed crabs for $40. Crabs were surprisingly big, hot, heavy. The fried oyster platter was also excellent. Hot crabs in January, does it get much better then that?
Stopped in during off season when most places in the area offer fresh blue crabs which are actually frozen and then flash steamed garbage. Not captain zeaks! Crabs were fresh like they just came out the water! This was on January 18th to be specific. The staff is always friendly and willing to entertain my many of questions. Great steampots and veggies also
Purchased a dozen XL for $70. Got them home to discover. They were just on the wrong side of bad. They had that ammonia smell and taste that tells you beware don't eat. I threw them out.
