In my time renting I had the heat go out in December and it took several tickets, my house getting to 46 degrees, calling my lease agent 3 times, and finally threatening to refuse to pay rent for the next month or my electric bill (had the oven on to keep the drywall from freezing) for them to send someone. Lawn got over 11 inches tall before they agreed to mow it. Things I requested be marked on my move in, such as dead lightbulbs, nails, and patched holes, were not. Staff was always very professional and promptly responded to any issues. However, I would not expect to get much of your deposit back unless you hire a professional cleaning company when moving out. Otherwise they will find something to dock you on.
