High price unloading rough on equipment extended waiting times unloading other trucks that came after because it was easier to break down employees outside smoking in cars
These guys are useless I am a truck driver and have been all over the place and these guys are the worst I have ever seen I have been at hannaford up in windthrop Maine and I was out right in a door and four hours later they started to unload me took them half hour to unload but it’s been over a 1 1/2 to get my paperwork and that is after I paid them the fee. Do not buy from Staples because they use this delivery service. They do no answer the phone. It just rings and rings after a 5 minute phone maze. I got a staples delivery and the person walked through my warehouse. 60 feet from the front door, walking past merchandise, my cellphone, my wallet. They could have left the packages outside the door or just inside, but instead they decided to take a tour of my warehouse while I was out back for just 2 minutes. Worst company ever!!! They steal packages! Their costumer service sucks, they will hang up on you instead of solving the problem!
I would give this company a negative 5 if it were possible. Capstone’s unloading service is something to be desired, especially at Kroger Distribution Center in Forest Park, GA. I have yet failed, in having to wait a minimum of 4-5 hours after backing into dock for them to start unloading. My average wait time is around 5 1/2 hours for an unload. UPS and Fed Ex are better partners with better screening. As a delivery solution you are not saving $$. Their failure to deliver timely (8 hour windows - often not met) and provide real time tracking will cost you more in customer good will and customer retention failure than any perceived margins. Seriously Capstone is the pinnacle example of why Brick & Mortar retailers are going bankrupt.
