About this business

Cap's on the Water is the epitome of casual yet refined oceanfront dining. Here it's not out of the ordinary to see flip-flops alongside suits and ties. The kitchen serves local seafood dishes with a Mediterranean twist and great bottles of wine from the restaurant's extensive cellar. For some mesmerizing sunset views, be sure to ask for a table on the outdoor deck. Just make sure you bring your camera.

This gem is worth the ride. Had a great evening on the water with my hubby - great food (had the panko fried grouper with mashed potatoes & asparagus) thanks to Jeremy for the great service & recommendations. Thanks to the team @ Cap’s

It’s hard to enjoy your meal when you’re really hot and there’s no fans outside on the deck! The food is good and the service is excellent but you need to go inside the restaurant and sit down where there are fans!

Great location, Great view (especially at sunset), great food and service. It’s a little out the way, but we’ll worth it. We went on a Wednesday and the parking lot was full, but were seated right away, that was because they have 3 choices, what they call inside, outside under a covered roof, and outside. We chose inside since there wasn’t a wait. One thing, it is a popular restaurant and they don’t take reservations.

Yummy Goombay Smash cocktail to start out with! For appetizers we had 12 raw oysters and the beef tips, both were very tasty. I had the Honey Rosemary Salmon my date had the fresh catch Mahi over potato purée. We ended our meal with a slice of gluten free chocolate pie! This was my first visit but I will definitely be back! We rode over on the bike from Orange Park. It was the perfect meal to go along with a great ride. I highly recommend this place for drinks and appetizers or dinner!!

Wonderful restaurant with beautiful views. Very family friendly and the food was delicious. My family all have food allergies and the waitress was wonderful in helping us adjust the menu to work for us. We will be back.
