Sandwiches on point
Hole in the wall sandwich shop, wouldn't even notice it was there without a friend telling me about it. Very tasty sandwiches, decent value (for Portland lmao ) take out only though, no sitting space.
I always forgoe Thanksgiving because I don't have any family in Portland and instead order the, what I call, "Thanksgiving Sandwiches" at Capriotti's the day after Thanks giving. ( I also skip the crazy shopping event the day after!) The sandwiches this year were as good as they have been previous years. I'm from Delaware, which is the birthplace of Capriottis, and I was thrilled that they had opened up a shop here in Portland! My favorites are The Bobbie (think Thanksgiving in a hoagie roll), Cole Turkey (cole slaw and Russian dressing) and the regular turkey. What is so unique and tasty about their turkey is that it is hand pulled instead of sliced and roasted fresh daily.
