Business is tough, the automotive industry is tougher. Combined together we have one very tough business. So why on earth would anybody in the automotive industry choose to pay more for parts they already buy from their existing suppliers. That’s exactly what Capricorn members are doing. Unbelievable. Suppliers are also costing themselves a fortune. I would much rather loose 10k a year to a customer that has genuinely gone broke than pay Capricorn 6% of my sales. Do the math people. For your financial benefit stay away.

I was a loyal member of Capricorn Society for over a decade. Throughout that time, their entire brand was built on championing the fact that they are member-owned and supposedly "all for the members." That commitment vanished the moment my business ran into financial difficulty. Dont waste your time. Whenever you tell someone you are a Capricorn member they just charge you 5% more so no point. Just save 5% of your money and buy off them yourself

Capricorn Insurance (AKA Risk or Mutual) is absolutely disgraceful. They are not worth the excessive premiums when it comes to making a claim. The Claims Department (particularly Beth Elliott) performance and approach to customer service is frankly woeful, with repeated STONEWALLING, then messages NOT BEING RESPONDED to for days. I had a very disappointing experience with Capricorn Account regarding a dispute involving two of their members—a wrecker and the mechanic where I had a job done. The wrecker unlawfully charged the mechanic under their Capricorn account for a dispute that had nothing to do with him, purely as a way to claim my transfer case by intimidating the mechanic.
