Throughout that time, their entire brand was built on championing the fact that they are member-owned and supposedly "all for the members." Dont waste your time. Whenever you tell someone you are a Capricorn member they just charge you 5% more so no point. Just save 5% of your money and buy off them yourself
Capricorn Insurance (AKA Risk or Mutual) is absolutely disgraceful. They are not worth the excessive premiums when it comes to making a claim. The Claims Department (particularly Beth Elliott) performance and approach to customer service is frankly woeful, with repeated STONEWALLING, then messages NOT BEING RESPONDED to for days. I had a very disappointing experience with Capricorn Account regarding a dispute involving two of their members—a wrecker and the mechanic where I had a job done. The wrecker unlawfully charged the mechanic under their Capricorn account for a dispute that had nothing to do with him, purely as a way to claim my transfer case by intimidating the mechanic.
