Nichole is ignorant of the law. Yesterday I provided her with a medical report on myself. I wanted her to present it in support of my claim to be disabled and therefore unable to support myself. Nichole insisted that I attend on her at her offices. There she dismissed the medical report as ‘hearsay’ and therefore inadmissible. She seems to be unaware of the exception to ‘hearsay’ concerning medical records and reports. It is of concern that my trial lawyer does not fully comprehend the rules of evidence.
Nichole was my brother's divorce attorney. I followed along from afar via their email exchanges and it was horrifying. My brother's ex-wife had a super sharp lawyer who would send aggressive emails citing case law and threatening that my brother would lose everything, and Nichole's emails in response would open with smiley faces and ask how the opposing lawyer's vacation was.
