Great classes! It's a good space to learn all the moves and music.
My son has been doing capoeira for about a year now. It has been so beneficial him. It has helped him with his body awareness in space and time, he has connected with the culture, learned to play instruments, carry a beat, sing in Portuguese, and we have found a supportive community. Cavaleiro’s a wonderful instructor.
Do you know about Capoeira? To me, it's the most interesting of the martial arts because it is both badass and really elegant and fun to watch. It includes Brazilian music and all members are part of the activity even if they are not the 2 individuals "sparring" at the moment. The studio has just moved to a new location and is still working on its storefront but my 11 year old is now approaching year 3 in this group and he has learned so much.
