#1 smoked fish on the western coast! Sal and the Cap'n are amazing people and their Salmon is AMAZING!
This review is for the lox sandwiches sold at their pop-up stand at the weekend ferry building farmer's market. It's pretty hard to justify $12 for some shavings of salmon, cream cheese spread, and two slices of sourdough. There's no doubt that the "sandwich" (portion size reminds me more of bruschetta..,) was pretty darn good, but it definitely was not tasty or filling enough to warrant its price. Better yet, just buy the smoked salmon on its own and appreciate the taste/flavor by itself.
