RecommendedWe went to see Mary Poppins and were thoroughly impressed. It was as good as anything that we’ve ever watched at TPAC. Very well done by all involved!! It was our first time to visit Capitol Theatre but won’t be our last. Totally worth our hour drive to Lebanon.
This theatre has been beautifully updated. The owners have preserved the timeless treasure of this theatre as a unique gem for the community to enjoy for years to come.

The 9 people in the row in front of us were rude and disrespectful. They talked during the movie. One man in particular was very loud. I asked in a loud voice, "Could you please be quiet? Some of us would like to hear the movie." He did not stop talking. After a while, the couple sitting in front of the row of 9 got up and found different seats. He is the reason alcohol should not be permitted in public places. He should have stayed home to drink. Now he is going to drive home. I hope he doesn't kill anyone.
If you want to take a step back into the past and appreciate entertainment in it's purest form this is the place for you! Classic movies, stage plays, and open for private events The Capitol Theatre is a blast from the past and perfect for every event.
