We needed a new car for our daughter and started looking at used vehicles. Malaki did a ton of work trying to find one that was safe, reliable and in our budget. After looking at a few and not finding one that checked all our boxes, Chris and Malaki worked out a lease deal on a brand new 2026 Crosstrek that met all our needs and was even below what we were hoping to have as a monthly bill. My morning started with driving a different car at a nearby lot about 20 minutes before I arrived at Capitol Subaru, there was nothing wrong with my first experience, although when I walked into Capitol Subaru I felt lighter like all the pressure from outside melted away. I drove my car off the lot after being told it was fixed and, “We’re done here,” when I doubted the unauthorized makeshift repair had fixed my car. The car was not repaired and in fact was worse. And service manager Dennis King never did return my calls after I notified him of the situation.
