This amazing little spot right in the center of town was perfect location for walking the small Main Street!! The hotel itself was quaint and the restaurant attached was extremely good!!
Nice place, very clean. Friendly staff. The room had great views of downtown. Walking distance to everything, food music , ice cream, markers. The hotel needs some updating , it is still a very nice place to stay. Parking is also n back of hotel.

The Hilton Capitol Plaza hotel surpassed expectations in every way! My family and I travel rather regularly and I will admit I seldom find myself compelled to write a review for the hotels we stay at but this particular stay was noteworthy and seamless. Everyone we spoke to on the phone or encountered from front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping was kind and helpful to us and particularly doting to our toddler. I am wheelchair bound. We reserved an accessible room. When we arrived we found the attached note in the room and lots of construction debris and dust in the hallway leading to our room. The room also stinks of construction debris. We tried to get another accessible room but there were none available. All the hotel needed to do was to notify us ahead of time and we would have made alternate arrangements. Very disappointed.
