Rooms were nice, but bed & pillows firm. Restaurant was excellent and lobby ambience nice. Downfall was only 1 very small elevator (5 people packed it) so we had to use stairs and we were on 3rd floor out of 4. They are supposed to upgrade elevator in near future.
The hotel staff is super nice and friendly. I wouldn’t say the room we had was updated, but it was nice enough given the age of the building. It’s a charming and historic hotel. When we tried to check in at 3:30, we were told housekeeping was running behind and our room wasn’t ready yet. We waited about 30 minutes to get into our room, which we were completely fine with.
