If you are Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing, do not come to this hospital! My friend is there, and they have refused to provide an interpreter so she can have access to the group conversations. They are breaking the law and don't care.
My husband was admitted after a an ER visit and was there for 2 weeks. I struggled and fought to get information on visiting, treatment plan, medication and discharge plans. A new facility but only had cold water for patients to shower! When my husband was discharged I was asked for payment and handed a stack of paperwork. No explanation of medication plan, no talking with a medical provider to review after care.and who could help us going forward. Highly disappointed in this program. We have attempted to refer multiple seriously ill patients to this program, including individuals who were actively suicidal or experiencing psychosis and were unable to care for themselves. In ALL cases, these patients were denied admission and discharged without any meaningful safety plan or alternative arrangements. I don’t recommend this place to anyone! Family support is not appreciated for the recovery of the patients. We were never told about the treatment plan, any progress if any. Family visit was a nightmare because we were put in a small room with unruly patient who was yelling and kicking the table making us uncomfortable. They never answer or return a phone call. They are simply profiting from the misery of the patients.
