Old building with old boiler issues and hvac issues. Has gone through different owners and I believe they finally got the right one that is upgrading and making better. Has a community room with sink, fridge, TV wifi pool table books elliptical and treadmill with bathroom tenants can hang out in. Also has secure coded entrance. What's up Concorde! You knew this was coming :) Heads up about Capitol City Villas (2501 N Street) - horrible. Trust any bad reviews you see about it, I wish I had. Rent is low, but NOT worth the troubles that come with it. Here’s what I wish I would’ve known: (I rented 1 br $695 from 9/2023-7/2024) - AC/Heat: You have very little to NO control over the temp. Horrible. I should have trusted that other review about the water. Water is turned off with NO warning SO often. That's just one of many issues there. And as you can see, they do not care. I can also confirm everything the other review says. All true.
One of the worst places you can rent in Lincoln. It is Not worth what’s they’re asking for, I lived there for a year and during the year lease I experienced water shuts off randomly for repairs at least once a week, on almost every floor there is a trash can collecting water from leaks, when showering water fluctuates, in my apartment the bathroom paint was peeling and molded, parking lot says private parking but is not enforced, heating and AC only turns on when they want, the washer and dryers they offer to wash your cloth... read more
