I'm a notary near Austin, Texas, who was hired by Melanie Lawson on April 18. On April 23, I printed their 130+ page document, met with their Texas clients for over an hour, scanned back time-sensitive documents, dropped the documents at FedEx, and sent my invoice the same afternoon. After 5 days of non-payment, I contacted Ms Lawson and was told my "check was in the mail." EDIT- at 22 days late, I had not been contacted nor rec'd a check.
