Took a Stihl Blower in for repair at ******** location. I was told problem would be diagnosed in 2-4 days. Had to call for update as had not had any communication a week and a half later. Still had not diagnosed problem. I called back 2 days later & gave ok to go ahead with the repair. Today is a week later and had to call back again for an update- still waiting for parts I was told. We are sorry that you are not happy with the time frame of the repair, but quite honestly we have no control over shipping services. No one can tell you definitely a time frame on repairs, it is a guess at best, unless there is no one else involved which includes technicians, vendors, parts, and delivery services. The portion "the deposit goes towards the repair" was left out probably inadvertently. I am not accusing the company of any wrong doing, just that the statement given in your response was not given to me completely. First I must say that I am pleased with the repair. There is a difference between a deposit and a non refundable diagnostic fee. I was told that a deposit of $132 was required to diagnose the mower and that fee would be applied to the repair. Then I was given a repair estimate of $306. Afterwards, I found that the $132 was a fee to diagnose the problem and look over the rest of the machine ( which I did not request but I'm glad they did). We make it very clear upfront that the deposit is paid before we look over the equipment, and that the deposit goes towards the repair. If for any reason the equipment is not repaired, we retain the deposit for our time. When we quote a repair price we state what the cost of repairs after the deposit would be, whatever it works out to be, in your case, apparently, that was $306.00. Bad business to deal with will do something that will make your mower break down and then claim that they never did anything to cause it scammers are all this business is
They failed to repair my ***** chainsaw. They told me it needed to be rebuilt and would not start nor would it idle after starting. They charged **$ labor and upon request refused rudely to return my deposit Another repair shop fixed it in 10 minutes. Charged me **$. It runs great and idles fine. PETE was very rude.

Mr. ****** brought a chainsaw in in August of this year. As is our normal policy which is posted and stated on the invoice that bears his signature, we took a non-refundable $***** deposit to diagnose the chainsaw. When it was examined by the mechanic, it was found to have low compression. He adjusted the carburetor. The customer was not charged any more than the deposit/diagnostics fee, nor did we try to sell him anything else. Pricey and very rude. Customer service skills were subpar. would not recommend.
Capital Repair Services LLC has the worst customer service of any local business my husband and I have ever experienced. They need to remember two KEY parts to running a business: (1) THE CLIENT IS ALWAYS RIGHT and (2) RESPECT IS A MUST. We'll be reporting this business to the BBB as their practices are unethical and down right criminal.
Treated rudely for asking for help and info. Not Sorry I didn’t immediately say I was in the market for more equipment. Will spend my money elsewhere.
