I really want to go here, but I’m already 53. Just moved not to long ago from Tampa. Having problems at my current primary. I guess they don’t want to practice on older people. I can understand that. Tough job!

I am so happy with this practice and with Dr Karels. I started with him at the Millbrook location, but gladly drive to Apex now that he’s moved. He’s exceptionally thoughtful, bright and passionate about health and taking great care of his patients. He somehow manages to give you all the time you need yet doesn’t keep people waiting. He doesn’t overbook and is extremely accessible. The office is peaceful, efficient, clean and well run. Very glad I landed here!
Due to a lack of insurance, I've been without a PCP for a while. This practice came recommended in a local networking group, and I'm so happy I gave them a chance. Dr. Karels is OUTSTANDING. He truly listens, never makes you feel rushed, and runs on time with appointments. The entire staff here is amazing and I can't say enough good things. I LOVE Dr. Karels. He is an amazing, caring, and thorough doctor. He always goes above and beyond iinm all my health issues. He runs on time and I never feel rushed even though I could talk to him for hours. I would also like to add how quickly I get a response directly from him on my patient portal. I have sent several portal messages and always get a response in less than 24 hours. Go see Dr. Karels you will thank me! Front desk and nurse are also super sweet.
