This was one of the worst doctor’s offices I’ve ever been to. Like most of the comments say, the technicians are very rude. They are especially rude to the elderly. The woman at the front desk, Amanda, was very nice and polite. She was the only nice technician in the office. Not sure what the one technician’s name was, but she was very rude and treated my grandmother horribly. My grandmother is hard of hearing, which is why I accompanied her into the room. I have been going to this practice between 15 to 20 years. I started out with Dr. Robinson at the Troy office and found him to be very competent. 10 years ago we moved to a different area so the Delmar office was more convenient. Upon that switch, I started seeing Dr. Kamath. I have never waited long at all in that office. My time is worth a lot. I have found them to be very efficient, and Dr. Kamath’s manor is very gentle. I've been going to Dr Kamath for several years now. I have always been a satisfied patient at this practice. Recently I developed a pretty large floater in my right eye. I called the practice to explain and they said they would contact Dr Kamath and let him know. It was Dr Kamath's day off. The receptionist called me back to tell me that the doctor would come in and dilate my eye to make sure my retina was not detaching. He came in on his day off out of concern for me.
