This company is a great company, and they take care of their community
Coastal Home Care is a fantastic place to work. The nursing department is both professional and incredibly supportive. There’s a strong culture of safety, diversity, and mentorship that truly stands out. I consistently hear positive feedback from my clients, which speaks volumes about the quality of care and service we provide.
My wife is home under hospice care. I am fighting bladder cancer again( 2nd go round). They don't even bother to let you know they're not coming, even though they are scheduled. They caused me to miss appointments for pre op physical, meeting with my oncologist, and mental health stress counseling. Only showed 3 of six visits, never called to let me know. Then treated me like it was my fault! Only use this company if you want your hard life to be worse.
If I could give “0” stars I would. This company is one of the worst I have every used. In the span of 3 weeks, they no showed 4 times and had 2 call outs needing a new care giver on short notice. When I notified our scheduler, Mary about the no shows she seemed very nonchalant about it. Which makes me think this is a frequent problem. This is unacceptable for families that need help with care for a sick family member. I would tell anyone to avoid this company.
