I had a terrible experience at Capital Cars & Trucks. The owner, Cali, wouldn’t show me a Carfax unless I committed to buying because it "costs him money" and wouldn't even discuss price until I filled out a credit application. Once I did, the monthly payment was higher than I was looking for. I pointed out that this monthly payment was based on a price we hadn't even agreed to (since I knew the sticker price was a little high) and suggested we settle on a purchase price first.
