Very disappointed with my experience with Capital Blue Cross. When my 3-year-old needed emergency care, we did what any parent would do and took them to the ER without hesitation. What is frustrating is learning afterward that, despite paying for health insurance, our final cost was significantly higher than what a self-pay patient would have paid. Super happy with their customer service. My husband went on Medicare and I got a new BC card for March. The deductible from the plan from Jan to March did not carry over. I get Medicare in May so essentially all my bills will be paying for 3 different deductibles. Selena took my call. Confirmed it was the exact same coverage just my husband came off and a new ID card was given for that. In less than 24 hours BC called back.
