Would Not Recommend A repairman came to our house to diagnose/repair our Kitchenaid microwave (which is part of a combined microwave/oven, 8 years old). He told us the problem was either the door switches or the control board. After looking at it he said it was not the door switches and was likely the control board. He said a new control board, however, might not be reliable and suggested that, in the long run, we'd be better off just to buy a new microwave/oven combination.
