We were referred to Capital Animal hospital by our vet and we could not have been more pleased. Our 10 year old lab Forest had TPLO surgery with Dr. Stan in July 2025. Dr. Stan and the staff were amazing during the entire process. Dr. Stan explained the procedure with hand drawn diagrams and X-rays. My dog Shadow has been treated for torn ACL in both hind legs at Capital. The first one went well however the second operation was not so good. Shadow still has trouble walking and using her right leg .I took her in to explain this to Dr. Suber and he took her back for an x-ray then returned and said firmly that everything looked fine. Never once did he have eye contact with me and did not offer to show me the x-ray. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Stan Veytsman, Veterinarian Orthopedic Surgeon . He is incredibly helpful, patient, and truly passionate about his work. He took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand and made sure I felt comfortable with every step of my dog, Rocko’s care. Unfortunately had two ACL tears to deal with for my 8-year-old dog. The consultation with Dr. Stan was very informative, providing a simple but detailed explanation of the injury as well as a clear step-by-step schedule of the recovery process. Their availability was fantastic. During my consultation on a Monday, I was asked when I wanted to have the surgery completed, my response was as soon as I can.
