Very caring staff! They took care of my dog Callie like she was theirs. ❤️ They are always available and happy to answer my phone calls with any questions I had.
Our adventure with Capital Animal Hospital began when my son called and said they found a puppy in the front grill of a car on the Lexington Medical Center campus where he works. She had been hit by this car and -- unknown to the driver -- rode 40 + miles in the grill of her car. We took her to Dr. Stan to repair her right ACL and severely dislocated right shoulder. I cannot express enough how wonderful they are here! The staff, top notch! From day one of our experience with them they took time with us and took such good care of our lab. We went in for a torn CCL, Dr. Stan too the time to thoroughly explain the anatomy of her leg, what has happened and how he was going to fix it. Never have I had a vet take that kind of time with me to help me understand what is going on with my dog. I came here from being referred from my vet for my doggie dealing with knee issues. Check in ladies were great and so sweet/welcoming. I went straight back to a room and shortly after was introduced to Dr. Suber. My dog LOVES people and honestly just wants to be held when he has these type of appointments. He maybe said hi to him and that’s it. I highly recommend Capital Animal Hospital ! Our lab, Elly May, had a TPLO procedure performed by Dr. Stan. I was very nervous walking into the consultation and the first thing he did was to talk to Elly May in such a kind way and I could feel the care he has for animals. He was very thorough in her exam and took time helping me understand the procedures she needed.
