This company is a joke, i had to fight to get paid every time i cored for them. They still owe me over a thousand dollars.
Similar to the other 1 star reviews, we had a horrible experience with Capital Air. I was hesitant to write a review as I wanted to forget about the nightmare of an experience, but if it prevents another family from going through what we did (and giving Tim any additional business), it is worth it. We installed 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps, Trane furnace systems and HVAC ductwork to convert from baseboard/oil heat to central air/forced heat with propane. I had a Panasonic unit installed a few years ago and from the first week, it never worked properly, Tim Morgan, the owner of Capital, was very responsive at first, sending someone here to add coolant, which fixed the problem for a week or so, until it leaked out and stopped cooling. He did this for several years whenever there was a heat wave, always with the promise to fix the leak when things slowed down, but now, several years have gone by, and he no longer returns my calls. We had Capital Air Systems install a new heat pump in our home in 2020. Within the first week we noticed that the thermostat would not hold a temperature (set at 67 and would routinely get to 73). Had a technician out and he "recalibrated" the thermostat- however that it did not address the problem. Over the past four years, we have had technicians out numerous times to address this issue (even replacing the thermostat with the same model), with no success. Capital Air came in as low bid on a 6 unit dual zone 36k BTU Mitsubishi Reverse AC/Heat Pump system. Job was finished professionally and ahead of schedule, no change orders or additional costs over original quotes, and the owner was knowledgeable and helpful enough to get a few hundred off MSRP due to multiple units. After 3 years condensers show no sign of wear or corrosion, nor an expensive freon recharge. Efficiency remains constant and as quoted year after year.
