Ask for Leslie! – I'm a New Yorker for 24 years now and I've been everywhere from bumble and bumble to Lisa Chiccine's small studio in Midtown. I sat in Leslie's chair briefly described the look I wanted and Leslie delivered perfectly. I love everything about my color and cut. The salon is also intimate and classy and, more importantly, it is not swarming with inexperienced, rude, baby stylists fresh out of a beauty academy.

Horrible Experience - Highly DO NOT Recommend – I highly DO NOT recommend going to this salon. The owner is very rude, unprofessional and completely provides false information. After living in NYC for 13+ years and going to some of the tops salons, I have never experienced such last of respect as a customer. First, I got a keratin treatment that only lasted 2 weeks in my hair – after spending $300! Go see Si Yu – I usually wait about 2 weeks before I decide if I love or hate my hair. I must say Si Yu had it right, she knew what I wanted and needed before I even opened my mouth. If you are like me and have long but baby thin hair (plus mine is curly so it gets frizzy) then I would suggest for the summer going to see Si Yu and having the keratin treatment, but be careful dont get the pin straight treatment if you want some of your wave and bounce still. A Stylist Who Finally Listened – So, I bought 2 salon packages off the street and was hesitant. My first package was not at Capelli D'oro and that salon was awful, so I was hesitant to use my other package. My experience was great. I had a facial, massage and eyebrow waxing earlier this week from Lynn. She offered me great advice on caring for my skin and also maintaining my eyebrows. Best salon, best hairstylist in new york!!!!!!!!!! – I got this package around union square the other day. I made appointment with my hair services right away, the guy who picked up the phone was really nice and patient with my accent. Worst Salon Experience Ever – I tried this salon for the first time using a deal I bought on HomeRun. I paid close to $100 for a package that was supposed to include a facial, deep conditioning treatment, haircut, up to 6 foils of highlights, and a 15 min neck and shoulder massage. Shear Genius!!! – HOT HOT HOT.I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to step up their game and look their hottest. The staff is both professional and welcoming and the owner, Leslie Correa is a certified genius. I have never liked my curly hair and as a consequence have kept it short. Leslie worked with me to get the sexy and smooth look I have always wanted. LIke a fine diamond this salon has it all the Cut, Color, Clarity and Correa.

Best Highlights EVER! – I had a great experience at this salon. The customer service was excellent from the moment you walk in the door, taking your coat, getting you coffee, making you feel comfortable. Leslie did a full consultation with me before he did anything which I liked. He asked what my routine was & what look I was going for.
