Dear Ms. Beck, We were delighted to learn the heartworm treatment we initiated with "Cain" was successful in clearing him of heartworms. Not all veterinarians recommend knee surgery on dogs because they are not adequately trained to do it and hence are uncomfortable performing it. Without question the vast majority of Veterinary Colleges recommend surgery in pets that have such a problem. We wish you and your pets the best in the future.
