I went here because of 3 serious skin issues which another local dermatologist had failed to cure. Although the PA was wonderful, Dr. Strickler ultimately dumped me back on the prior doctor, didn't help on the worst issue and said I didn't need a followup with him but to go to the prior doctor. The other factor that really turned me off is that when you walk into the office, there is a large painting of Jesus staring at you. I'm tired of doctors in this area. Was planning to be a new patient, but of course two days before my appointment they asked me to come in earlier or to reschedule. I was rushing to get there and called let them know I was close. Originally, they said okay, see you shortly, then called back saying no I need to reschedule I'm too late, the NP is "crunched" ( 2:55, my appointments at 3). My husband has been going to this practice for years. He has had several types of skin cancer that has required surgery. Dr Stickler and his staff are awesome. They are very professional and caring. When waiting for biopsy results they constantly check on him and keep him updated. We have never had a problem with any staff member at this office.
Their protocol is extremely poor. They have a receptionist (not the doctor) call to tell you the results of your biopsy even when it is cancer and also a receptionist to tell me that my biopsy site is "expected to be infected" because it is melanoma.
